I’m Divya Vemulapalli, a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati, DAAP. I’m a multimedia designer who lets the idea guide the medium I choose to bring it to life.

The first time I felt the urge to create was when I started drawing as a kid. Since then, I’ve found myself drawn to all kinds of creative expression. Creating has made me a curious observer and shaped the way I see and understand the world around me.

I grew up traveling and moving around the globe, which has made me a more empathetic and culturally aware person. Being exposed to different places, people, and perspectives continues to influence the way I approach design.

Getting to know myself as a designer is an ongoing journey, but right now, I’m particularly interested in User Experience, Brand Design, and Creative Direction.

Outside of design, I enjoy experimenting with fashion, visiting art museums, singing, stand up comedy, designing tattoos for my friends, and exploring the next place that does strawberry matcha the best.
